Seven Natural Eczema Treatments to Help Save Money
Natural Eczema Treatments
If you suffer from eczema you have probably tried an eczema treatment for your problem. You’ve probably spent a lot of time and money on doctor’s visits and expensive medications without results. Here we’ve got seven natural, old-time eczema treatments that don’t cost an arm and a leg and are quite effective.
Ideas on Effective Natural Eczema Treatments
Amaranth tea is an effective eczema treatment. Here’s the formula: you’ll need two teaspoons of amaranth seeds and, if available, 1 teaspoon of amaranth leaves. Bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting, add the amaranth seeds and simmer for five minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and add the leaves. Steep for 30 minutes. If you can’t find the leaves, don’t worry – it’s not essential, but does increase the effectiveness. When cool, use as a wash, twice daily.
Another natural treatment for eczema is echinacea. Echinacea is an herb best known as a cold preventative, blood cleanser and immune system booster. However, a little known benefit of Echinacea is that even long-standing cases of eczema respond well to Echinacea tablets (available at health food stores) within several days.
Here’s another natural eczema treatment which, while being a bit unusual, is highly effective. For each treatment, combine one tablespoon of peeled, raw, grated potato with 2/3 teaspoon of uncooked, granulated quick-cooking tapioca. Add just enough water to make a thick, sticky paste. Spread the paste on several layers of gauze and fasten to the affected area with medical adhesive tape. Change every day, repeating until relief is obtained.
Watercress tea for an eczema treatment? You bet! Thoroughly wash 1 large bunch of watercress and place in a stainless steel saucepan, with just sufficient water to cover the greens. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat, simmering slowly until the watercress is quite tender. Strain the cress well, through a few layers of cheesecloth and refrigerate. Bathe the affected area(s) a few times each day, with a piece of soft cloth. For comfort’s sake, a soft linen works best.
Other Natural Eczema Treatments to Consider
Would you believe that horseradish root can treat eczema? Yes, indeed and quite effectively. Grate a 3-4 inch piece of fresh horseradish root, put it into a glass bottle and cover with apple cider vinegar. Set the covered jar on a sunny window ledge for 10 days. Strain the horseradish root out and refrigerate the remaining liquid. For each application, dilute the vinegar with equal parts of water and apply daily.
Another eczema home treatment is warm water and molasses. Some cases of eczema respond well to warm water combined with a couple of teaspoons of blackstrap molasses. Soak the affected area frequently in the bath each day. In addition to the soaking, take a teaspoon of molasses by mouth, several times a day. Note that diabetics should not use this treatment!
Our last natural eczema treatment is for dry eczema only, as it will make weeping eczema worse! Take 1 capsule of propolis twice daily, for 3-4 days, then follow up with one application of the propolis cream daily, until the eczema is relieved. Propolis capsules and cream are available at health food stores. Note that about 1 in every 2,000 persons have an allergic reaction to propolis. Should you develop a rash, discontinue use. The rash will disappear upon discontinuing the propolis.
You’ll surely agree that eczema is no fun! One of these natural eczema treatments will work well for you and you’ll save time and money, too!

Have You Considered All Natural Cures for Acne?
Searching For Cures For Acne
If you suffer from problem skin, then chances are you’ve already tried many cures for acne that you can get over the counter. These are the topical creams, ointments, and cleansers from brands like Clearasil, Oxy, and Neutrogena. You’ve probably been to the dermatologist too, and perhaps have even had a go with prescription treatments for acne such as Differin, Clindamycin, Metrogel, Benzaclin, and Retin-A. The fact that you’re still searching for cures for acne on the internet means that none of these products has worked for you, so maybe it’s time to go with natural acne treatments instead.
Some Cures For Acne May Contain Harsh Chemicals
The biggest problem with traditional cures for acne is that they usually contain harsh chemicals that can really irritate your skin. You probably have sensitive skin to begin with, so using these medicines simply adds fuel to the fire, causing even more itching, peeling, and redness, which of course makes you look ten times worse than before. Needless to say, this doesn’t help your self-esteem at all! But with an all natural cure for acne, you don’t get any of these same nasty side effects as you work to clear up your face.
Ideas on Cures For Acne
Extra virgin olive oil and jojoba oil are two of the best all natural cures for acne. It might sound counter intuitive to treat your blemishes with oils (isn’t overproduction of oil and sebum one of the causes of pimples in the first place?), but this approach has worked wonders for lots of people. Olive oil and jojoba oil have properties that help unclog pores, soothe your skin, and balance out the pH, thereby allowing your face to recover. Choose whichever product is easier for you to get hold of, then just use it as a wash. Put a few drops all over your face, and gently massage for five minutes before rinsing off and cleansing as usual. Some folks like to leave a thin film of the oil on their face overnight so they wake up with very soft, smooth skin in the morning.
Honey and green tea are two more natural remedies for acne. Honey fights bacteria, so using a honey mask a few times a week is a gentle way to keep skin clean and allow the healing process to begin. Green tea has many antioxidants that help boost your immune system and prevent blemishes. Also, some studies have linked pimples to a diet high in refined sugars, so if you consume green tea as a substitute for sugary soft drinks, you might be able to clear up your skin that much faster.
Teenagers and adults alike are currently engaged in this battle against problematic skin issues and are always trying to find a treatment for acne. It’s something that can affect your self-esteem, your ability to form connections and friendships, and many other aspects of your life. If you’re tired of worrying about what others think of your face, then try some of these natural cures for acne today.

Eyebrow Waxing – Consider Using Professional Waxing Services Instead
Do You Need Eyebrow Waxing?
When it comes to eyebrow waxing, not all women need it because there are some women who are blessed with beautiful perfect eyebrows. They may not have to touch them at all, or they may just have to pick off a few stray hairs here and there. I am not one of these women. My eyebrows are bushy, and because I have curly hair, the hairs can have kinks in them and stick out at odd angles. It’s frustrating, and there used to be days that I thought for sure they had taken over my face. A few years ago I got tired of trying to make them behave, and I dove into the world of eyebrow waxing.
Tips on Eyebrow Waxing
The first time I did eyebrow waxing at home, I made them too thin. You have to study the shape of your face before you decide what to do with your brows. If you have a round face, or a pudgy face, you have to leave them a little on the thick side. I have a round face and my too thin brows added weight to my face. After that session of eye brow waxing I decided to let them grow in so I could give it another go. I had to tweeze the stray hairs that were coming in, and I felt self conscious about the half grown hairs popping everywhere. It’s what I had to do to start all over again though.
Another thing to consider before eyebrow waxing is the natural shape of your brows. You don’t want to try to morph them into something that they won’t do naturally. The point is to take the extra off, but to not totally reshape your brown. Each brow has it’s own natural shape, and they will look the best if you work with that shape. If you try to use eye brow waxing to totally redesign your brows, you are going to make mistakes and you are going to make it worse.
Consider Using a Professional For Eyebrow Waxing
If you don’t know how to wax your eyebrows, you might want to get professional eyebrow waxing done. It won’t cost you very much, and you can be pretty confident that you will get the right touch. I have only gone once for a professional eye brow wax, and I think I will be going back to use their waxing services again. They were quick yet careful, and they did a very good job. It turned out to be less painful than when I have done it myself at home, and when someone else is looking at your brows, they have a better chance of keeping them even and looking good.

Reasons to Use Cosmetics Products
Why Use Cosmetics Products?
When you think of cosmetics products, you have to think of almost anything that people use to make themselves look better. Beauty products such as cosmetics have been used for a long time to enhance the beauty of women, and sometimes men, but the methods have changed quite a bit. Some wear cosmetic products for beauty reasons, and some wear them simply because they have something to cover up. Anyone in the entertainment industry will wear makeup products whether they need them or not. It’s just a part of the job, so to speak. They all appear to have perfect skin and don’t need cosmetics products, but most of them do not.
Skin, naturally, can be a very strange thing and that is why there are so many cosmetics products geared towards covering up or smoothing out the appearance of skin. There are some lucky people who have natural flawless skin, but it is actually very rare for that to be the case. Most have some sort of uneven color they don’t like, or they have blemishes that they feel they must cover up with a cosmetic product. This is most commonly called foundation, and is getting better each and every year.
Reasons For Buying Cosmetics Products
Other cosmetics products are meant to add color. Some buy cosmetics to add a rosy hue to the check. This flush of color usually produces a look of health and vitality if done right. The blush should be blended and light, and should not look like a red or pink streak across the cheek. The same colors can be applied with facial cosmetics made for the lips. Most choose a color that is a natural extension of their own lip color, but there are also many trends that will dictate what some will wear and what they will not.
Be Sure and Purchase Quality Cosmetics Products
There are also cosmetics products made for the eyes as well, and many for the purpose of covering up dark circles under the eyes. No matter what you need, this is definitely one time when you want to spend some extra money to be sure you know you are buying a quality beauty product. You really do get what you pay for. You want something that works well, does what it should do, and does it well. You also want something that will stay on your face, will compliment your skin tone, and will not appear blotchy in the sunlight. That seems like a lot to live up to, but there are many great cosmetics beauty products out there that will do just fine.

Have You Considered The Iredale Mineral Cosmetics Brand?
Iredale Mineral Cosmetics
Just when I thought that makeup for women couldn’t get any better, I find Iredale mineral cosmetics. This product offers quality, ease-of-use and affordability all in one. You can throw away your old beauty makeup supplies and fill your vanity with Iredale cosmetics. You are sure to find everything that you need with the Iredale mineral cosmetics brand.
When I think of mineral makeup, I picture products like Bare Essentials, but Iredale mineral cosmetics are a little different. First of all, you have a broader selection of products including lush eye shadows. Instead of focusing on the complexion, the Jane Iredale makeup focuses on the complete look.
Applying Iredale Mineral Cosmetics
I’m also impressed with the information that this company provides for its clients. Knowing the right way to apply the Iredale makeup is crucial to wearing it well. That stands to reason. However, before I started using Iredale mineral cosmetics, I never really knew the proper way to apply skin care cosmetics on my face.
One resource offered by the Iredale mineral cosmetics company is the blog associated with the product. You can research different application techniques and the site even helps you choose the right colors for your face. Foundation is typically simple to figure out but, the Jane Iredale cosmetics address the eyes and cheeks as well.
Use The Iredale Mineral Cosmetics Blog For Advice
Some of the information will surprise you if you are not a professional makeup artist. I was really shocked to find out that I was wearing the wrong shade of eyeliner and eye shadow for my eyes. The Iredale mineral cosmetics blog urges ladies to avoid matching their eye color with the Iredale make up.
For years, I have worn green eyeliner and green eye shadow because I thought that this would accentuate they eyes. However, according to an Iredale mineral cosmetics correspondent matching does the opposite. The two similar colors actually cancel each other out.
This was one of a number of pleasant surprises that I discovered by browsing information about Iredale mineral cosmetics. Not only have I adopted a great new product that is designed to accentuate my features, I also have a plethora of information for using the mineral cosmetics to their fullest capacity.
Makeup trends come and go, but the Iredale mineral cosmetics have staying power. The company offers outstanding products and excellent advice. Ladies should be educated about what they wear on their faces. A company that invests so much time and effort into teaching women the ins and outs of makeup application is a keeper in my book.
